About me
My background
I have developed training and working methods and worked on leadership, communication, change and integrity questions. I am particularly interested in the gap between a plan and what people can actually do with it at work.
What interests me
Why does a plan that sounds convincing in a meeting work out so differently in everyday life? Sometimes the explanation lies in the information available. Sometimes it is about habits, roles, incentives or the way people relate to one another.
Moral philosophy, evolutionary psychology and behavioural science have shaped the questions I ask. Research gives me useful ideas and good reasons to doubt easy answers. So does talking to the people involved.
Experience in different settings
My work has taken place in different organisations and roles, often involving teamwork and organisational development. I also spent a period working as a project leader at KOPA on organisational development.
How I work
I try to separate what we know from what we assume, consider more than one explanation and look for a practical next step. Sometimes that calls for a Decision Review. Sometimes coaching, help with change or a conversation about leadership is more useful.
I can be involved without agreeing with everything. And if new information changes the picture, I want to be able to change my mind. You can read more about the approach and the research questions behind it.
Let’s talk about the question.
You do not need a polished brief. A short description of what is happening is enough to begin — without confidential details at this stage.
